For current students and staff, please now use the following login method to access your Moodle account.

.

If you have a personal or alternative Office 365 account not with Yeovil College, you will need to log out of this before accessing Moodle. See here for guidance.

You will no longer use the username and password field. Instead, click on the Yeovil College 365 button and enter:

  • Office 365 username (this is your id number adjoined to '@yeovil.ac.uk')

  • College IT password

.

If you prefer video instructions on how to log into Moodle, please see below.

If you have any further problems, please contact learningcentre@yeovil.ac.uk

Do you get an error whilst trying to log into either Moodle or Office 365 apps such as Microsoft Teams?

If you also have access to other Office 365 accounts, such as a personal/work account or from a partnership institution account such as a different college or university, you may receive an error whilst trying to login using the Yeovil College 365 button.

Why does this happen?

If you are logged into your internet browser using a non Yeovil College Office 365 account, your login will not be recognized.

How do I get around this?

Method 1: Open an ‘In private’ or ‘Incognito’ window on your Internet browser and login to Office 365. This should not remember any log in details you have used for other applications.

Method 2: Sign out of your current Office 365 account (office.com), close all your tabs and browser window. Then re-open your internet browser and attempt to log into Office 365 with your Yeovil College username and password. This should clear the other Office 365 credentials from your session.

Method 3: Switch profiles on your internet browser. Most current internet browsers allow you to switch profile or change to a guest profile by selecting the profile icon (or image), normally found in the top right corner of the browser screen. Once profiles are switched, a new browser window will open, allowing you to login. Please note: If you want to use this method with Microsoft Edge, you will need the newer version of Edge (see Edge Chromium logo below).

Method 4: Use a different internet browser all together. If your device has more than one internet browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge etc., try logging into Yeovil College Office 365 via the alternative browser.  If no other Office 365 account has been used on this browser, the sign in should be error free.

Password support

These videos are only available to those who are able to login to Moodle or Office 365. If you are locked out of your account and have not set up password self recovery, please contact learningcentre@yeovil.ac.uk (01935 845450) for support.

Your username and password to access Moodle, Office 365 and it's associated apps (Teams, OneNote, etc.) are the same. The following two videos will support you with changing your password and setting up self password recovery. Closed captions are available if required.
